Hill fog.
A weak cold front brings a rather cloudy day to the Lake District but conditions improve on Sunday as a ridge of high pressure builds south across the area.
Weather:
A mostly cloudy day with some patchy light rain and drizzle around, especially for eastern fells. Brighter conditions are expected to spread south during the late afternoon and evening to provide some late sunshine.
Visibility:
Very good falling moderate or poor in rain and drizzle.

Broken or overcast at 900m lowering to 600m in at times in precipitation with patches to 300m over eastern fells.
Wind and Temperature at 900m:
Northeast at 20 to 25mph. Plus 4 Celsius.
Freezing Level:
Above the summits.
Weather:
After a largely sunny start patchy cloud will develop through the morning, although there will still be some good sunny spells, with just the risk of an isolated shower.

Very good. Small amounts but a well broken cloud base developing through the morning at 600m then gradually rising to 1200m through the afternoon.

Easterly at 20mph. Plus 2 Celsius. 1000m.
Once again a day of good sunny spells and just the outside chance of a shower. Moderate or fresh east to northeasterly winds. Freezing level 1000m.
Another very similar day with sunny spells and just the risk of the odd shower. Moderate or fresh east to southeasterly winds. Freezing level 1200m.
