Students gather evidence of glaciation through observation, interpretation and data collection in a Lakeland valley. Fieldwork techniques include sketches, feature mapping and sediment analysis. Studies include the environmental and human implications of these physical processes in the National Park. Groups should expect to walk up to six miles along low to mid-level footpaths.

Strong footwear and adequate clothing are essential.
