Scrutiny Committee
The Authority operates a Scrutiny Committee to scrutinise the interpretation, application and effect of policies of the Authority and advise on actions to enable it to meet its statutory purposes. It has delegated powers to:
- To monitor, investigate and report to Authority the interpretation, application and effect of policies by the Authority and its Committees.
- To monitor implementation of improvement plans of all the areas of the Authority’s work, based on National Park Authority Performance Assessment.
- To oversee the implementation of all audit recommendations
- To approve the Statement of Internal Control
- To advise the Authority on Risk Management
- To advise the Authority on its governance arrangements
This Committee meets at least every three months.

Minutes are listed under the meeting date where they are presented to committee members. So for example minutes for a January meeting will appear in the associated papers for the February meeting.
