Rights of Way Committee

Building fences in the Lake District National Park

The Rights of Way Committee was established in March 2007 and reports to Authority. It meets to discuss:

  • Evidential definitive map modification orders under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
  • Public path orders and agreements under the Highways Act 1980, where there is an outstanding objection
