How do I apply to undertake work on a protected tree?

Adequate plans must be submitted as part of the tree work application process, for both protected trees and trees in conservation areas. They will be required for the benefit of our advisers, parish councillors and other committees, residents and amenity groups.

I need a location plan to accompany my tree work application

Please contact us on 01539 724555 or email trees.woodland@lake-district.gov.uk. We can provide a copy of an Ordnance Survey map which you can use to mark the location of the tree/s and return with your application.
