Local Development Framework
We've consulted people about all the issues and options (opens Document Library) about the National Park such as housing, businesses and traffic. We have also gathered extensive Supporting Research and Evidence. We have combined these, considered what national and regional government is saying, and produced the preferred options for policies for each core strategy.

Next steps
We held a six week consultation asking for people's opinions in questionnaires and surveys. The closing date was 18 July 2008.
When we have analysed all the information from the consultation, responses will be available online. We will then develop the policies for each core strategy for submission to the Secretary of State and an examination in public. This is likely to happen after Spring 2009.
