Any boat which has an engine - including an outboard motor - must be registered for use on Windermere. You can do this by downloading the online forms below, at Ferry Nab on Windermere or the LDNPA headquarters at Kendal.
Registration Scheme form
Please print out both sections of the Windermere Boat Annual Registration Scheme Form (opens Document Library) and follow the instructions on the form.
Tip: We need two types of Proof of Identity for all new registrations or if you're renewing and don't bring the original renewal form.
I have a Small Ships Register number - what should I do?
If you are registered with the Small Ships Register please display that number at the same size as the Windermere scheme numbers. If you have any questions please call 01539 792643.
