Opening times

  • Gardens, adventure playground and grounds open all year from dawn to 6pm.
  • House, cafe and shop open daily until 2 November: 10am - 5pm

Buggies, pushchairs, wheelchairs...

If you have difficulty walking or have a hearing impairment, there's equipment on hand to help you enjoy the centre and grounds, during the opening times of the house:

  • Free use of electric wheelchairs for use in the gardens
  • Free use of wheelchairs to use indoors
  • The 'Brockmobile' electric bus to transport coach passengers from the car park to the Visitor Centre
  • Audio wand guides for a descriptive tour of the centre
  • Induction loops in the theatre for hearing impaired visitors
  • Lift access to first floor exhibitions

There are many tarmaced paths at Brockhole. However as the gardens and grounds were laid out in Edwardian times, some areas include small terraces which are only approachable by steps and steep slopes.
