Explorer tickets
Why not make the most of the bus service and enjoy your holiday without the hassle of travelling in your car? You can do this quite cost effectively by purchasing an explorer ticket. These allow you to travel throughout Cumbria on most services, stopping off to visit villages, attractions or enjoy walks. You can also travel to some destinations outside Cumbria.
1 Day Explorer: £8.50 adult £5.75 child
Family 1 Day: £17 (up to 2 adults and 3 children)
4 Day Explorer: £18 adult £13 child
Minibus tours
There are a range of full or half day minibus tours to visit key beauty spots and attractions within the Lake District, often stopping off for refreshments, photograph opportunities and visits. Leave the car behind, enjoy the views from an elevated position, and perhaps enjoy a commentary on the area.
