Whinlatter is a belt of woodland north-west of the village of Braithwaite near Keswick. It is managed by Forest Enterprise as part of the Forestry Commission and boasts what is possibly the world’s first ‘Trail Orienteering’ course. A fairly recent feature is the Revelin Moss trail which begins opposite the visitor centre and features easy going gradients suitable for wheelchair users. Full details of the trails and associated facilities are available from the Visitor Centre.
