We aim to make your visit enjoyable, whatever your needs. Several Information Centres have facilities available to help you get around:

Wheelchairs

These are available to hire at:

Also at the Lake District Visitor Centre at Brockhole there is:

  • free use of electric wheelchairs for use in the gardens
  • Free use of wheelchairs to use indoors
  • The 'Brockmobile' electric bus to transport coach passengers from the car park to the Visitor Centre

There's no booking charge but we do ask for proof of identification for security reasons - either a credit card, driver's licence or copy of a household bill.
