Our event types

Do you want a challenge or relaxation? Do you want to learn new skills or simply have ‘time out’? Well, our events have it all.

Family/Children

There’s a range of events especially for children and families. Some are at the Lake District Visitor Centre at Brockhole. Children are welcome on any of our guided walks as long as they are suitably equipped and accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Guided Walks

Friendly and knowledgeable walk leaders will help you to discover quiet corners with breathtaking views – and keep you entertained, informed and safe. The walks are graded to help you choose one that matches your ability. - see Our walk grades

Special interest

These events concentrate on a particular theme such as archaeology, the coast or navigation. They may be led by volunteers, rangers, or experts from other organisations.
