Day hire
Let our electric motor boats take the strain or row, row, row your boat in our traditional wooden rowing boats. If you can sail why not hire one of our dinghies? Or you can always paddle your own canoe.
Motor boats
Travel anywhere on the lake and enjoy one of the Lake District's most beautiful stretches of water in peace and quiet. Wheelchair accessible boat available.
- 1 hour: £18 for a maximum of 2 people, £27 for 4, £32 for 6 and £37 for 8
- 4 hours: £50 for a maximum of 2 people, £78 for 4, £92 for 6 and £110 for 8
- Full day: £90 for a maximum of 2 people, £130 for 4, £160 for 6 and £185 for 8
Rowing boats
- 1 hour: £9 for a maximum of 2 people, £14 for 4 and £18 for 6
- 4 hours: £26 for a maximum of 2 people, £38 for 4 and £50 for 6
- Full day: £43 for a maximum of 2 people, £63 for 4 and £83 for 6
Sailing dinghies
If you can sail, you can hire one of our sailing dinghies. We've Toppers, Sport 16s, Wayfarers and a Hawk 20. What better way to follow in the wake of Swallows and Amazons to explore Arthur Ransome's Wild Cat Island's secret harbour? We also offer Sailing courses and lessons.
Wayfarers
- 2 hours: £35 for a maximum of 2 people, £45 for 4 and £55 for 6
- 4 hours: £50 for a maximum of 2 people, £60 for 4 and £70 for 6
- Full day: £75 for a maximum of 2 people, £85 for 4 and £95 for 6
Hawk 20
Please add £15 supplement to the Wayfarer prices.
Toppers
- 2 hours: £18 for one person
- 4 hours: £28 for one person
- Full day: £45 for one person
Canoes
Paddle in either an open style Canadian style canoe or one of our sit on top canoes.
Bic sit-on kayaks
- 2 hours: £10 for one person, £18 for 2 and £21 for 3
- 4 hours: £17 for one person, £27 for 2 and £32 for 3
- Full day: £25 for one person, £40 for 2 and £45 for 3
Canadian canoes
- 2 hours: £18 for a maximum of 2 people and £21 for 3
- 4 hours: £27 for a maximum of 2 people and £32 for 3
- Full day: £40 for a maximum of 2 people and £45 for 3
