Guided by the "Issues Analysis" examination question, students are encouraged to gather and present factual information on the background to the byelaw proposal; to evaluate environmental and socio economic arguments for and against the speed limit and analyse the decisions made. The examination question is supported by a mark scheme.
Additional information on the CD ROM such as detailed evidence from the Inquiry and guiding questions, photographs of Windermere and its surroundings and background information can also be used in a public inquiry simulation exercise. This in turn could be linked to fieldwork in the Lake District National Park.
